You need to reinstall the software on your TomTom software you need to install the TomTom software on your PC, hook up via USB, and then you will be able to work on the unit. Please go to the web site below, and there is an extensive "Help" section, easy to use.

When TomTom Home installs, I believe it either also installs, or needs to have installed, a copy of the Visual Studio Runtime (a 'C' language runtime from Microsoft). Also, your computer needs to have JavaScript enabled in the browser.
Check to see that both these required items are installed. It is beyond the scope of this question to tell you how to do that, I'm sorry.

Error calling method on NPObject (TOMTOM GO)
Received same error when trying to operate my TomTom Go from PC. Fixed this by deleting (or renaming) file install.rdf. File can be found in Windows 7 in:
C:\gebruikers\username\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\Profiles\randomname.default\Extensions\Navcore.versio[email protected]
Delete or rename the install.rdf file and try to operate your Go again from TomTom Home. It will ask to install some software, reply OK and you're done.
