SOURCE: DeWalt d51822 framing nailer, shoots 2 nails at once 1 in 5 times

I worked at at tool rental center while attending college and learned from the old tool masters about nails and nailers. Rental stores have many different brands of nailers to rent and customers would bring their own nails of all brands. You will notice on the case/box that your nails will /should work on many other brands however the degree or angle of the nails is not always exacly as stated on the box. You should check with protractor the exact angle of your nails and also check the exact angle of the nailer. Use straight edge on travel path of the piston and another on guide rails to check angle of the gun. You will discover that all is not as stated as in a perfect world. If the angle is off slightly, the head of the second nail will get into the path of the driver. This happens mostly with clip head because the nail heads are so close together. The full round head is spaced further apart with less jamming. If angle is off slightly, take a look at other brands of nails with protractor in hand, the angle will be different slightly or choose a slightly thicker nail. Look for the nails to fit with bottom of nail hitting the barrel first. This will move the head of the nail slightly away from the center line. Finally do not release pusher with force as this will jamb nails closer together. Good Luck!?

SOURCE: my ridgid r213bna nail gun won't fire a nail, but has good pressure & no jam...

If a gun is firing and nails are not being driven into the work it's because of one of two problems. The nails aren't feeding fully under the driver or the driver isn't fully retracting each time the gun is activated. Is looks like you've eliminated a feed problem so you are going to have to take the gun apart to find out why air is not being held in the bottom of the head long enough to push the driver back up the cylinder. Go to www.ereplacementparts.com and bring up your model so you can follow along. Remove the four screws holding the head cap on. The things that can cause your problem are: the piston seal & o-rnig are damaged, the cylinder is badly scored, the o-ring & cylinder ring on the bottom half ot the cylinder are damaged or out of place, or the driver guide under the bumper is broke or missing. If it turns out internal parts are damaged or missing, I highly recommend the overhaul kit to replace all the 'soft' parts inside the gun as long as you have it apart.

Air comes out the nose of my dewalt framing nailer

Again sounds like blown O ring give it a squirt of 3in1 oil and fire it several times (if oil is compatible in your gun). Repair center if that doesn't work. Trash can also get in the air orifice and stop moving parts from moving.

Senco fram pro 602 nail gun firers but no nail just a hole from firing pin

First, check that you are using the proper nails. The FP602 needs Full Round Head nails with plastic collation. If you are using Clipped Head nails with the paper tape collation the angle of the nails not let the driver catch the next nail and drive it into your work.
If you have the correct nails, check the magazine to make sure the nails are feeding all the way up to the driver. If there is anything blocking the way or if the spring on the feeder isn't taught enough to pull the clip all the way up the driver won't be able to catch the next nail and drive it in.

Nails fail to feed

Without knowing your model number here are some things to check, in order of difficulty:
1. First make sure you're using the proper nails for your gun. If your gun isn't specifically listed on the box of nails as compatable make sure they are seating in your gun properly. Some brands of angled nails are a couple degrees off from others and won't work in competetor's guns.
2. Check the entire feed path of the nails in the magazine all the way up to where the driver catches the next nail. Sometimes dirt builds up in the track or there could be a peice of nail stuck in there preventing the nails from getting under the driver. Also the spring on the feed shoe should have strong pressure on the shoe all the way up to the head and the shoe has to ride freely in the magazine.
3. If the gun is making holes in the wood the driver isn't broke but it must be straight and true and the tip square. If not it will miss or slip off the nail before driving it. The only way to check the driver is to remove the head on the gun and take the driver out. The piston & driver should travel from the top to the bottom of the cylinder without binding anywhere. Correct any problems you find or replace any damaged parts and your gun should work.

I have just brought a brand new bostitch bt1855 brad gun that i tested once it arrived, and it worked perfectly. the next day it only fires air and no brad. there's no jam or obvious problem. any...

Rather than try to repair it or look into it, call the dealer or take it back to him as you will invalidate your warranty if you do anything to the unit, and that is not worth it. Let the dealer worry about it.

How to change bits on nail drill for natural and artificial nails(nail techs would know how to do this)

Most of the nail techs I've seen are using some variation of a Dremel or multi-tool. As I have never seen any nail tech take the machine directly to someones nails. I will assume there is and extension. You'll need two tools, a pin like a nail (woodworking nail not fingernail) and a wrench adjustable, vise grips whatever you have. There should be two holes just below the bit on the outer casing. Spin the center shaft until the hole in it lines up and stick the nail in it. This locks the center shaft so you can loosen the collet nut that holds the bit in place. Once it is loose you'll probably need to lightly tap the bit to get it to break free. Slap in a new bit tighten the nut, pull the pin out and your ready to go. Hope I didn't botch up what you meant by "nail tech".

Paslode nail gun wont fir nails model 5350/903 air compresser type

paslode is a very good gun and I use them daily. release the clip from the front and it will expose the channel that the nail travels through. Make sure there is no broken pieces of nail in it. you can also check on the trigger and make sure it pushes the pin in all the way. I dont know if you have the grey or orange one in it but it doesnt matter, the get worn over time and if it is bad, one pin will let you replace it. if none of these ideas help, take the top of the gun off(a few hex screws)and expose the top of the cylinder head and look for holes around that piston. if it has one there will be excessive discharges of air out the top of the gun

Nail comes out another hole

are you using the right nails and are they inserted properly if this is an angle gun? Also look for a jammed nail that might be causing this. look at the magazine bolts to make sure they are tight. You can go to Paslode.com for the owners manual and troubleshooting guide.

I need Remove head restraint to install seat covers and then reninstall.2009 Silverado truck

Simple. Need two people and also two vise grips, two smaill nails about 3 inches long. Put one nail in each vise grip and lock the vise grip onto the nail. Locate the plastic ring which can be found sitting on top of the seat and has a hole in it that one of the chrome braces fits in. Two chrome braces and two plastic rings. On the side of each of the rings is a hole. Take one vise grip and put the nail into the hole and you will feel it punch something in and when you release the push, the nail will return back out a very short distance. By pushing the nail in, you have released that brace. Now for the removal. You will need to punch into both plastic rings at the same time and then all you do is have the other party lift the head rest straight up and out. Piece of cake and there is absolutely no damage. To reinstall, simply place the two braces into the holes and push down and it will again be locked in. This was done on my 2007 Cadillac SRX.
