Something inside is short-circuited. All components look fine thans to burned fuse. Don't try it anymore with new fuses. You need to get a repairman to check it out.
SOURCE: gas oven smell
Have you checked the temperature with a hand held or stand alone thermometer? First thing I would do is get a cheap oven thermostat, set the oven to 200 and make sure the oven is not being controlled.
This smell, does it sour the flavor of whatever you are baking, broiling whatever?
Sounds to me the oven might be over temperature, if it checks out against another thermostat is there any breakin procedures in your manual or cd?
Check that out, next have you called the oem?
cALL EM AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING, MAYBE THEY HAVE A BAD COATING,
If that goes no where, get a mailing address, ,get a frozen pancake or waffle if it is sticking to the food, cook it, wrap it hot in plastic rap then aluminum foil and mail it to them.
Once they take a wiff of it you will get some relief,
I am concerned you might have some kind gas that could prove to be unhealthy, so get this dealt with, the three suggestions above should get you an answer.

it sounds like you have a main air movement system motor that is burning out. it will probably quit on you in the next few days. likely cost to repair from company 375-700 somtimes more if you have a variable speed furnace, in which case you should consider replacing the whole furnace for what it would cost for the motor on one of those.

Hello purrpplee - If the smell is coming out of the oven vent, more than likely it is something inside the oven that is creating the odor. Also, keep in mind that new cooking products can create a burning electrical odor when the bake and broil cycles are used as any residual coating or film on the oven liner and elements burns off. However, if odor increases consult a professional for an accurate diagnosis.
