Try pushing and releasing [f], then [4]. This will give you 4 decimal places. (It follows that if you want 5 decimal places, push 5 instead of 4, etc). If that doesn't work, you can try taking the batteries out and putting them back in which should reset it to 2 decimal places, then set it where you want it following the above.
If it continues to malfunction I suggest taking the batteries out for 24 hours to allow a static discharge. This will lose anything you stored in the calculator, setting it back to how it came from the factory.

If you press the setup key then 1 under FSE it will say TAB (0-9)? enter the amount of decimal places you want and it will change that for you.

On your keyboard, you will see a small button or symbol of a calculator. Press this button. The calculator should pop up on your screen and you'll be good to go.

enter the number, press 2nd and then press the button that has the squareroot and the x in the middle (beside the AC/ON button) for example, i have to find the square root of 25, i press 2nd and the button and i get 5, hoped this would help :-)

Press AC twice. Hold down % set key for about 2 seconds until ?0? disappears on screen, then reappears. Press Tax Rate key. Input tax rate (12.5%) and press % set key.
