Just clean the metal parts inside the battery compartment with some isopropyl alcohol and try to scratch off the brown corrosion with sandpaper.

SOURCE: Door locked on safe

Brian We can't give advise on the safe but you can call the manufacture of the safe and if you have registered it they will help you otherwise federal law requires a lock smith to identify you and your information and your ownership of the safe before they will unlock it for you. This is to protect you or the safe owner and the lock smith from being sued and losing his licence.. There should be a sticker on the safe with a 800 number for you to call to get help. But you must have registered it first. They may have a way to verify it some other way but am not sure.

SOURCE: CAN NOT OPEN MY SAFE,

To retrieve your lost sentry fireproof safe combination. First, find your safe's Model and Serial Number. The Serial Number is printed on the small label on the right side of safe (on paper tag near hinge) or under handle. As this information is confidential a valid credit card and email is needed to verify a customers name and address
sentry safe combination archives searches. Do come with a service charge although it's definitely cheaper then buying a new home electronic sentry fireproof safe.
A
good locksmith should be able to help you with the dialing programming instructions and lost Sentry Safe Key Replacements

I hav a amsec dl4000 safe and forgot the passcode and hav no idea where the 2 keys r. the batteries work tho, is there anyway for me to open it??

I knew someone who had a locking mailbox like that with keys when pass is forgotten or battery runs down, they could open with key. He registered it as directions said to do so you could order new keys, the old mailbox was also lockable and since owner died he had to throw it away as couldn't prove he wasn't thief. Maybe something there helps.

Have lost keys for Micromark electronic safe and batteries are running down. Phone no for Micromark no longer in use Need new key or any help

A competent locksmith should be able to make the keys as long as you have the safe open and he can remove the lock cylinder(s).

Hardline safe lost key & battery flat

if you have lost the key -- then look on the face of the lock cylinder and see if there are letters and numbers on it,, ( key code ) -- take this keycode to your local locksmith and see if they could make the key. if the code is not there then take the safe down to your local locksmith shop and have them pick open the safe. now if the safe is mounted in your house and cannot be removed - then have a locksmith come out and pick open the lock and make new keys for the safe.

The batteries of my powersafe TR 36 are dead and I don't have any key. What can I do to open the safe? Urgent! Thank you in advance!

I know this post is months old, maybe you didn't open your safe yet or maybe someone else could use the advice.

The batteries are no inside the safe because of this reason, that you should be able to change them if they run dry.

Under the key panel is a long plastic panel. You can slide it to the right and underneath you find the battery compartment.

Harldline safe not opening

Sure blame the poor kid.
Think about it, what good would a safe be if by pressing a few keys the combination was changed?
As with any combination safe you need to clear the combination by turning one, two or three times in the opposite direction before entering the combination.

Now say your sorry to your kid.
