My Spy Net Watch says "CONNECTED, BATTERY CHARGED, DO NOT DISCONNECT WHILE DATA IS BEING TRANSFERRED" and it won't do anything else. I can't access any of its functions. What do i do?

I am thinking you need a new battery. It appears to be a battery operated watch that runs on solar power IF there is light.

Well if the cell is fully charged, you should be able to touch the reset point inside the watch to reset display. If. Cell has to be replaced, theyre around $20

Shortcut battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs..

To reset the watch, you need to 'short' the reset point with the battery. To do this, with the watch face down and the back removed the 'Reset' point is in the bottom right hand corner (a gold-coloured contact point). Use a pair of metal tweezers or an unbent paper-clip (anything as long as it's metal and will touch the reset point and the back of the battery at the same time). Maintain contact for about 5 seconds and you should get the display back.
I've just changed the battery in my SDB 500W and the above method worked. I did lose the audible 'beep' though and I'm currently on the net trying to find how to get it back. That's how I found your question... :)

I have a watch which is solar type and the instructions say that several hours of sunlight will charge the battery but lamps need much longer (1 -2 days!), my watch now is left in a drawer.

After removing the 5 screws and the glass with seal, put your screw driver und the opposite edge to the winder. By carefull lifting,(do not force) you will find the inner watch assembly lifts out enough. to access the battery. The winder spindle has a joint in it which allows the body to bend on it to almost 90 degrees.

Hey man all you have to do is mail the watch to Guess, their service dept is world class. I found a lost guess watch behind a car seat. It was lost for 10 yrs i mailed it in, the fixed it to mint condition and charged me $13. I took another guess watch to the mall to have the battery and crystal replace, dont take it to Mohammed just send it back to guess, they will fix anything they find wrong and mail it back to you. I have dont this twice and they dont rape you in charges, they were way cheaper than those loosers at the watch shop.

If your watch is blacking out when the light is used, this is the first sign for battery replacement as light feature consumes more power than all watch mechanics together. Uderpowered battery can be the reason why the battery gauge do not show any bars.
My advice is to change battery first.
If the watch will have the same problem after battery replacement, then you will need watch repairers advise as it will be clear that the watch is having mechanical or electronic fault and in this case only watchmaker would be able to deal with it.

A "non" fully charged watch will sometimes "jump" seconds rather than indicate one second intervals. Charging these small solar panel watches takes forever, in BRIGHT sun. Have you tried leaving it outside, in the sunlight, for at least 12 hours?
