The Memory Cards in these models are limited in their capacity to hold a stitch file. Newer models use a USB port that can keep a larger file on a jump drive.
Think of it as a Computer with a Needle and note the capacity of your memory card vs. the file size of the design in mb. remembering that 1 Kilobyte (Kb) equals 1,000 Megabytes (Mb).
Hope this helps!

SOURCE: 180E Hoop problem

Joan, there are 3 micrositches on your embroidery unit arm. these switches are depressed when you attach the hoops, it appears from your comments that one switch is not functioning. This could be simple, it is out of alignment or more complex it is broken. Either way you need to take it to a professional for repair.

Sorry to inform you but your machine only sews 4" x 4" . The arm on the machine can only move 4 inches up and down and 4 inches left and right.
The size of the hoop does not affect this. If you have a multi position hoop you can sew multi 4 x 4 areas without re hooping.

SOURCE: Futura CE-200 Stops in middle of design and says wrong hoop size

Dear cjnations
Firstly we must all remember that the CE200 is a very particular machine and requires that you follow certain procedures in order for it to run smoothly. When using the small hoop, firstly you must make sure that the small hoop is selected on the screen by going to Tools, Select Hoop & clicking on small frame. Once this has been done and the design selected, you must then attach the small hoop before sending the design to the machine. If you attach the hoop after sending the design, the machine will give you the error message.
Good Luck!

You can try to calibrate the hoops by having the machine turned off and the largest hoop and smallest hoop ready hold down the start/stop button and the needle theader button and turn the machine on while holding those in, you should get a different screen that say a/d test in the upper left corner, put the largest hoop on the machine being shure the screws are tight and hit the l button on the upper right side the numbers next to the button will change, then put the smallest hoop on and hit the ss button once the thats done turn off the machine and on again and it will start normally and try your designs again if that doesnt work take it to a brother service center/ dealer and tell them to check your x-axis position

Calibrate the embroidery hoop

Note
The embroidery hoop can only be calibrated with the oval hoop.. You'll find the instructions for each machine in the relevant user manual.

When changing hoop size of design do the stitches decreace

Usually, if the design is larger than the hoop, it will not work. So, No, the hoop size does not determine the size of the stitchout.

My Husqvarna Designer SE embroidery unit keeps giving an error message "Design out of Hoop area" I have the proper hoop as specified in the instructions.

I use to have the same issue. Then found out when I created the design in my software, I had a different hoop size selected that I needed. In other words, say I created a 100X100 design, but when I created it in my software I used the larger hoop size. The machine requires you to use the same hoop size as it was created with, even though it will fit in the 100x100 hoop. Hope this helps.

Exceeding embroidery area design is smaller than 200x140

Not sure if understanding your question. Guessing your design does not fit within the hoop. Generally, the size of the hoop needs to be slightly larger than the size of a design because the hoop needs to allow space for the presser foot to manipulate within the space. You may need to use a larger hoop or shrink the design.

Need help, I keep getting error c 12 hoop size is smaller than embroidery data, I have the right size hoop on for the embroidery design I' using.

Perhaps the machine is not recognizing the hoop you have installed. Could be a computer component or software glitch or something wrong with the hoop itself.

You might try contacting a local machine dealer for support or contact the online manufacturer support.

Why do I keep getting error C 12 'hoop size is smaller than embroidery data'?

the machine may have a problem with a sensor, if turning it off/on again doesn't clear the machine, you may need to have it checked

Embroidery

When you are editing the design make sure you are actually doing it in the hoop size that you want. It may be that the design has been done in a larger hoop although it does not really require it. I can change the hoop size on my machine. Good Luck!

Can i do a large applique with my pfaff 7570 using the large hoop

Both the 7560 and the 7570 will only stitch out to the largest hoop it came with which is a 120 x 115 CM hoop (approx 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches). If you are using the Creative Big Fantasy Hoop or a Hoop-it-All you will need to split out the design so that each piece will fit within the 120 x 115 hoop. Transfer both designs to the machine. If using the original hoop, hoop your fafabric and stitch out the 1st design. Unhoop and rehoop again aligning the fabric with the hash marks on the hoop. You will have to move the design around on the screen to make a perfect fit. Stitch out the 2nd design. If you are using the Creative Big Fantasy hoop, you just have to hoop the fabric once, stitch out the 1st design and loosen the side screw on the hoop and slide the hoop into place for the 2nd design. Stitch out the 2nd design. The same process applied to the Hoop-it-All.

I bought a large hoop for my machine. But I still

From what I have been able to find out about this model, the embroidery area is limited to 4 x 4.

A larger hoop cannot change the built-in configuration of the machine's computer.

You can use a larger hoop, stitch out what you can and then re-hoop to finish - this is not easy to do.

Measuring the distance between the letters and then centering the last letter to match the previous stitching can be done, but it takes a little practice.

You can make a template using tear away stabilizer.

Stitch out the first 5 letters. Carefully remove the stabilizer - this is going to be a portion of the template.

Hoop another sheet of tear-away and stitch out the last 5 letters (these will partially overlap the first 5 when finished). Remove as in the first step.

Overlap the two templates (tape them together) and this should help you align the letters when you have to re-hoop.

Testing and a bit of practice is how I do it.

There is editing software for splitting designs and if you are interested - check Embird as it seems to be the most reasonable.

The machine beeps and says there isn't enough room to finish the embroidery but there is plenty of room left in the hoop. How can you override and continue the design? Using the larger hoop

Depends on what the limit is for your machine.

For example, if an embroidery machine is limited to a 4 x 4 stitching area, then it makes no difference how much larger the hoop is.

How do you use the Plus Hoop on a Husqvarna Viking "Rose" Sewing Machine?

The plus hoop is a multi positional hoop that allows you you to embroider designs up to 4" x 6". It is essential for monogramming and lettering using your Rose. The Rose hooping system is the same as the 1+, the Scandinavia 300 and 400.

The designs you use must be formatted for the plus hoop. That is, the design has already been divided into two or three elements. Each element is an individual design. For instance, say the design is a long stemmed rose. It would probably be divided something like this: design 1: the flower and the top part of the stem, design 2: The middle part of the stem and the leaves, design 3: the bottom part of the stem.

You would hoop up your fabric to be embroidered, attach the hoop to the machine, set the hoop to position 1, select design 1, stitch out design 1, set the hoop to position 2, select design 2, stitch out design 2, set the hoop to position 3, select design 3, stitch out design 3. You should have a complete design when you're done and everything should match up perfectly!

The hoop is divided up into three squares, 4" x 4". Position 1 square overlaps position 2 square and position 2 square overlaps position 3 square. This overlapping allows the designs to stitch out more smoothly.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions. Carrie
