I have nokia suernova 7210 phone i can acess gprs but icant connect to my pc for acess net.when i attempt there is a message packet data connection not avaliable what can i do

Pls recharge your airtel no: with suitable GPRS plan.Go to SETTINGS>CONNECTIVITY>DESTINATIONS>INTERNET>CHOOSE YOUR AIRTEL GPRS SETTIN>[eg:mobile office]>create packet data connection> pls edit your homepage as http://www.google.com and ACCESS POINT NAME as airtelgprs.com>AUTHENTICATION as normal>and USE ACCESS POINT AS automatically.[YOU KNOW WHY YOU CANT USE GPRS IN NIGHT.SOME TIMES YOUR ONE OF THIS SETTIN WILL BE CHANGE {use access point automaticall changes to after confirmation thats why you cannot use GPRS}]. AND IN THE MAIN WEB BROWSER >SETTINGS>GENERAL>INTERNET AS UR DEFAULT...AND IS THERE ANY PROBLEM CONNECTIN DO THE SETTING. AND IF YOU DONT CONNECT SWITCH OFF AN ON TO REFRESH YOUR PHONE

kindly downlaod nokia p.c suite for nokia 7210 and install in your p.c,
after installing connect your mobile with p.c via data cable or via bluetooth........
to get data package for your mobile ,plz ring ur customer support and ask them for gprs settings,they will send you the settings through a text message and save the settings...................
after that you can use mobile internet to access your email and all...

you should download the settings...then ensure that your service provider activated the GPRS connectioin..
If it still shows the message contact customer care.

My Nokia 7210 Supernova handset can not access internet, though it is working on P.C. as a modem. When I try to open webpage in mobile, it reflects a message "Subscribe packet data first" and "Link not available". Sometimes it says "Connection not available". Tough all settings are installed properly. My service provider is BSNL, UP East Circle (Faizabad district). Please suggest me the solution for this problem so that I can access net from mobile too. -RP Shukla Faizabad

For you to be able to connect to the internet using your nokia 7210 supernova as a modem, you must do the following;

1. First download the nokia PC Suite from Nokia site http://www.nokiausa.com/get-support-and-software/product-support, select your device, leave the accessory and move on to select the service & software"

2. You then move ahead to download and install the Nokia PC suite on your computer. After successful installation, please run it.

3. Double click on the icon for the nokia pc suite on your desktop, once it is running look for the button that has "connect to the internet", it is the green globe with 2 arrows on it.

4. Once you get that double clicked, it takes you to a pop up that would now enable ypu connect to the internet via your service provider. Click on configure on the lower end of that window.

5. Click on the modem that you'll be using for the connection (bluetooth, USB cable) and click next.

6. After that process you would then be prompted to select your network operator from the list, once you do that you can then click finish and allow it connect.

After some couple of minutes yu'll be connected to the internet using your phone as a modem.
