SOURCE: Armitron Pro Sport Watch Hourly Chime
Based on insructions for another watch, I just figured this one out. The steps would be:
Get in Alarm mode (press mode button)
Then you can cycle through the following by pressing the ST/STP button
1. Alarm on
2. Chiime on
3. Alarm and Chime on
4. Alarm and Chime off
You can see this with a magnifying glass and watch the center and right hand circular icons at the top of the display.get highlighted.

Here is what I found.... Posted by: Joe From Oregon on February 04, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Hi, I have a 40/6753 and here is what I found to set the watch
................Adj......................Start/Stop
...............Mode
.............................EL
Press and Hold down the MODE button until the display starts to flash that you are Adjusting the alarm. If you need to adjust the alarm here ya go :)
Press the mode button again and it switches from adjusting the ALARM to adjusting the TIME.
At this point the display will be flashing the seconds. Press the ADJ button and it will switch to Adjusting the Minutes. Press the AdJ button to advance the minutes.
Pressing the Start/Stop will switch to Adjusting the Hour. Again pressing the ADJ button will advance the Hour until you get to the correct one.
Once correct press the Start/Stop to switch to Adjusting the DATE. Press the ADJ to advance Month and Day.
Pressing the Start/Stop will finally switch to Adjusting the DAY OF THE WEEK. (little circle to the left hand side). Again, pressing the ADJ will advance the Day until correct.
This took me an hour just pressing buttons until I could figure this out. I hope this helps everyone.

Most digital watches have a button for "mode" by repeatedly clicking this you can go through the various modes of the watch. You should be able to see the time flash and also see where it will say 12HR or 24HR. You will need to do this to set the current time etc. Once your in the proper setting mode you will need to select another button that is the "enter" button that allows to make the selection you want. If you have a friend who wears a digital watch at work or something they can probably show you how to do it.
