You can't do it yourself. You will only do additional damage and add to the cost of repair. You need special training and expensive specialized equipment to repair and align a lens. I suggest that you go on the Nikon USA website and find the closest Nikon Repair Depot. They will give you a repair estimate.

the o2 sensor is usually on the exhaust manifold, or int pipes that lead to the catalytic convertor. It sniffs the summed exhaust gasses from the engine, so look for it in the plumbing AFTER the headers.manifold comes together into one pipe. It is a threaded sensor about the size of a spark plug.
The likely defective part is the voltage regulator. This should be fixble by any shop that handles audio gear. No special test equipment or parts are required. The regulator circuit should be fairly standard and simple. Where are you located so I can recommend a shop?
