SOURCE: converting a different brand of mic for a midland CB

This should be a typical Midland pinout. If you are using a generic 4 pin mic that is wired to cobra/Uniden, all you have to do is switch pin 1 & 2, then 3 & 4.

Not all mics are color coded the same with their wires.

It will not transmit or recevie i get a little static on the weather channle but nothing on the cb i can here the mic key up when i have my other cb on but that is all.

there may be an issue with the mic. The mic is required for receive. there may be some broken wires in the cord for the receive and mic.

Try a different mic.
