sometimes hard to see. Might be on the underside of the spout or on the back side of the part of the spout that it connected to the faucet. OR just compare to pictures on American Standard website

You didn't describe the problem you're having. I'm giving you a website that describes how to get to the diverter and clean it up, replace the washer, etc. You probably will find this site quite useful for most of your household replairs.
