SOURCE: Question:how to set the weekday on a Fossil watch model BQ-9165.

You have to pull out the stem all the way and turn clockwise until you get to the correct day. Hopefully you won't have to wind thru the whole week.

SOURCE: WHAT TOOL DO I NEED TO REMOVE THE BACK OF FOSSIL

Most watch backs either screw off with a special case opener that every wachmaker uses or pried off with a knife like case opener or sometimes a knife. Take this to your local watchmaker for battery replacement. Batteries are readily available but are a bit tricky to install properly and are best installed by a qualified watchmaker.

SOURCE: I need extra links for my fossil BQ-8792 watch.

Go the Fossil website - http://www.fossil.com. There is a link at the bottom of the page, Customer Care. Clock on that link. On the left there will be a menu item under Product Info that says "ordering links and bands". There is a paragraph titled "Order Links". There is an 800 number to call and they will send you two links just for shipping or if you need more than 2 links, it's $3 per link.

I have an old fossil bq-8793, years ago I was going to replace the battery myself. I lost the battery back then, there seems to be no indication on the watch itself as to what size it takes inside or out....

Back Plate:
About 1 1/4'' inches wide. Inside inscription/stamp reads:

Battery:
Energizer 373
Movement plate:
There are 3 inscriptions/stamps
1) S (May be a # 5)
2) 1A
3) TMI TIME MODULE INC. JAPAN VX3J
(The above number stamp may also read UX3J)
