SOURCE: Oven keeps tripping the electrics

I would suspect that the fan oven element is faulty. what I think is happening , is as the element gets hotter, the insulation is breaking down and causing the trip to operate, it is quite a common problem
You will need to fit a new element.
If it is a fan assisisted oven you will find the element behind a removable cover at the rear of the oven compartment..
Plz rate my solution.
Thankyou.

SOURCE: zanussi 360 just tripped and now keeps tripping

You will probably find that it is the oven element that needs replacing, located at rear of oven compartment behind rear panel.

SOURCE: zanussi zbf260x built-in oven keeps tripping out

Probably due to a fault on the oven heating element. Check continuity and earth with a multimeter if you can but it's odds on you will need a new heating element.

Oven will not heat up

This tutorial will show you how to check your Zanussi element and how to replace your Zanussi cooker element.

Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating

  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Zanussi manual.

  2. If you\'re Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.

  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

My cooker has been working fine until now. but everytime i switch the cooker on at the mains now it keeps tripping my electric for everything. please help?.

if its tripping the breaker you have a direct short ,, check the ends of the element for a burned wire , and replace as necessary and check this link for solutions http://www.appliancepartspros.com/repairtips/repairtips_range_oven.aspx

Oven tripping

Hello,
Was the oven tripping the the fuse before the element was replaced, also did you take the oven out to do element because the element can be done with cooker in place it may be that you pulled out the connections block at rear of unit and it is touching body.If tripping before replacement the fault could be any where on the oven. You will have to check it through.

Our zanussi cooker is tripping out. Any idea what fault might be? Is it worth getting a zanussi electrician or a local electrician to look? Thanks in advance

Hello,

if it trips as soon as you turn on a certain function that may point you in the right direction. If it trips when you just turn on at mains with no funtions set then it would be advisable to get the zanussi man out most leckys will find fault but tell you to get service man to sort it.
Hope I was helpful.

Good Luck.

Fan oven on zanussi electric cooker does not heat up

From symptons, I would say the fan oven element is faulty, more so if the fan is working. Remove inner rear panel of oven and see if element gets warm, let it run for a minute, switch off and feel if element is warm, if not, then replace.the element.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.
