Here In my place in India, you can attach only one tv to the sky set top box.That too with AV cables. The program or channel changing is done by box only. The tv works as a monitor and has no role in program selection. You can attach a second tv to the box not through antenna cable but through AV cables only. That too if the box is having second set of output sockets. In that case both the TVs will receive the same programmes. To watch different programmes on the second tv you will have to go for an additional box.

Call LG. They will have you go through diagnostics over the phone and ask for diagnostic data the TV has in memory.

I have done this about 10 times and my TV usually loses all it's TV guide data after I customize my channel listings (delete all the channels I don't susbscribe to). Within a day or two of calling them, my TV Guide is back to normal.

I will never buy another LG TV. Thank God I bought the extended warranty. I've had the power supply already replaced (this is also the 2nd set..replaced 1st set due to same issue), TV turns itself on at times ( in winter - low humidity/static electricity??), and loses TV Guide listings on a frequent basis (after I change the channel map).

You need to replace the eeprom IC in your set. Hospitality tv's ( i.e. hospital,motel etc...)have a eeprom IC that restricts programming and the use of the menu so guests can't mess up the tv picture or get unauthorized programming that they want you to pay for or just don't offer more than 27 channels. I have done this for customers before. The eeprom IC is an 8-pin IC that is right next to the microprocessor and is easy to change. Be careful soldering on an RCA board though...too much heat will lift the solder pads.Good luck!
