SOURCE: F2 code and consistent beeping with my Maytag Electric Wall Oven model CWE5800 or CWE4800

The F2 code indicates a stuck relay. You will have to replace the relay board. It may be a stand alone board or it may be part of the ERC Electronic Range Control. If you know how to check you won't have to call a tech.

SOURCE: dacor single oven flashes an F2 error code and won't stop beeping!!!

This is from manufacture service manual:

-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Gold Electric Oven F5 E1 code on bar code

For some reason I get the same error code every time we have a power outage. If you push and hold the "lower off" button for about ten or 15 seconds it will unlock and reset. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Maytag oven beeping the message is F5 oven needs to be turned off

Hello, the oven can be turned off from the breaker panel, the Error message F5 refers to your electronic oven control is bad. You can try to reset it by turning the breaker off for 20 minutes and reseting the breaker..if this fails to work you will need to replace the EOC. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions please feel free to comment again..Good Luck!!!

SOURCE: error code

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Have 20 year old Maytag convection wall oven. Model CWE9030B. It started beeping with a F7 display. Did stop beeping with oven light on and door open. Any advice?

The F7 error code indicates that there is a problem with the buttons of the control panel. The code comes on when two or more buttons are stuck at the same time. The oven cannot operate when this condition exists. The oven is repaired by replacing the control panel with a functioning one. You may try to tap on the control panel lightly to see if one of the ttons is stuck down.

Beeps for no reason but no error code and oven works fine - a Whirlpool gold double oven

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.

Oven beeps every 6 seconds and wont stop...no error codes displayed

I doubt it will work but try unplugging the stove for an hour or so.
This may reset beeps which may be caused by the timer.

Amana self cleaning oven Model ACS7270AS, Seril 10924419AT F1 And F5 code come on control panel and continuous beep. All burners and other oven controls seem to come on ok. How do we clear the beeping...

Both F1 and F5 are the code for a board failure; it would need to be replaced. What you could try is disconnect the oven for a few minutes and then turn the power back on. If that does not do the trick you would need a board

I have an in the maytag gas oven that keeps beep and show f-1 when its shut off

This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range/oven Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when this error code is present.

1. Disconnect power to the range/oven (unplug the range/oven power cord or turn the power off to the range/oven at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range/oven has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC/EOC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If the code comes back and the beeping as well, replace the ERC(control board). If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Error code F1

I had the same problem and found this post:
http://fixitnow.com/wp/2006/03/11/maytag-amana-jenn-air-and-magic-chef-range-f1-codes/

The oven had been cleaned earlier in the day and the touch pad ribbon connector was shorting. I cleaned it with rubbing alchohol and blow dried the whole board for good measure. Hooked everything back up and haven't had a problem since.
