Insert memory card for connecting as mass storage

First you:
2.9.1 Using the microSD Card as USB Mass Storage
To transfer all your favorite music and pictures from your PC to your mobile phone's microSD card, set the microSD card as USB mass storage.
1. Connect your mobile phone to your PC with the USB cable provided. Your PC will detect the microSD card as a removable storage device.
2. Open the notification bar, and then touch USB connected.
3. Touch Turn on USB storage in the dialog box that opens to confirm that you want to transfer files You can now transfer files from your PC to your mobile phone's microSD card. When your microSD card acts as USB mass storage, your mobile phone will not use this memory space. Ensure that you follow the correct procedures to disconnect the USB mass storage device (your mobile phone) from the PC when you have finished transferring files.

Then:
8.3.1 Copying Music to the microSD Card
1. Connect the phone to your computer with a USB cable and mount the microSD card.
2. On the PC, navigate to the USB drive and open it.
3. Create a folder in the root directory of the microSD card (for example, Music).
4. Copy the music from your computer to the folder you have created.
5. After copying music, unmount or eject the drive as required by your PC's operating system to safely remove the mobile phone.
6. Disconnect the mobile phone from the PC.

Once done open music player and play music.

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the cell phone and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device, you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.

Your iphoto program maybe corrupted, try reinstalling the iphoto program.OR
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. just plug in the data cable from your phone to usb port on your laptop, then open setting from your phone and find pc connectivity then set as mass storage, it will detect your memory card of your phone to your pc, drag the music you want to my music folder in your memory card.

hi friend, if you not entered any password into your memory card. then, connect your mobile with computer & select an option mass storage at connecting time. then, formate you memory card. then, disconnect your mobile from system. and again do formating by phone in file manger. your problem is fix.

When it displays insert memory card for connecting as mass storage device, switch off the phone and reconnect so the phone will perform as a memory storage device.

Most of the mobiles will prompt the user to select the mode of connection when connected to computer such as "Mass storage mode/data transfer mode" and "PC suite/modem mode". If you select the "Mass storage mode/data transfer mode", then only your mobile phone's memory card is connected to your system just like pen drive. so only the pictures present in momory card can be accessed. For transfering pictures from phone memory, try the following methods,
1. Go to your file manager in mobile phone, move the pictures from your phone memory to memory card.
2. Install proper PC suite for your mobile, connect to system in phone mode/modem mode/pc suite mode. Then using the PC suite file manager in your system, oyu can access files stored on to phone memory as well as memory card.
3. Connect a bluetooth dongle to your system, establish a bluetooth connection to your mobile. Threw bluetooth file manager from your system, you can browse the phone memory of your phone.
I hope any of the above tips may solve your problem.

All you need to do is go to settings -> phone settings -> PC connections -> select mass storage and save......... Now when you connect the phone to your pc via the data cable, all the necessary installations of usb drivers and such things will complete automatically. You dont need to install any softwares manually. All the installation will occur instantly after you connect (setting of mass storage is very important). The Next Time you connect your mobile to your PC, the memory card on your phone will just act like a pen drive.................... ( I dot use any softwares like samsung pc studio or anything)

once u have connected USB from mobile to system... u get a message option of mass storage and com port.... better select mass storage for easy process... wen u select mass storage automatically the memory card will be displayed on my computer ( same a pen drive)..... NOTE: this process does not shoe phone memory..... only u can access memory card.... thank you... VINAY
