SOURCE: Power light flashing/ no picture

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

SOURCE: Flashing Green Light on Front of 73" Projection TV

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.

SOURCE: tv wont turn on

Hello Charliebigwh, hi technically your monitor's power supply has a problem, this is either your switching regulator does not work or there is a short in that section, If you want to do it your self, need to replace all large value, and or high voltage capacitors(especially the capacitors with its top is bubbly), need also to replace the switching IC, and power transistor.

Have it checked by a technician if you cannot do the work.

I have a 50 inch telefunken with blue/red flashing error.

Check to see if the devices have an issue. You will have to do a soft reset for your TV here.By unplugging the TV and everything that is connected to it for about one minute. When it is unplugged press and hold the power button TV for 30 seconds. After 1 minute you will need to plug the TV back in again.

Luxor tv flashing standby light

The flashing standby light on your Luxor TV can indicate several things, including:
  1. Power supply issues: If the TV is not receiving proper power, the standby light will flash.
  2. Malfunctioning hardware: A malfunctioning component in the TV such as the power supply, main board, or backlight system can cause the standby light to flash.
  3. Overheating: If the TV is overheating, it will go into protection mode and the standby light will flash.
  4. Software issues: A software glitch can also cause the TV to display a flashing standby light.
If the flashing standby light persists, it's best to unplug the TV, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in. If the problem persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for further assistance.

I need code for lm1075 universal remote on a Sylvania tv

Press the power button and the button for the device to be programmed, holding them down until the red light comes on. Release the buttons at the same time. Pointing the remote at the device to be programmed (while the device is on), press the PLAY button. The red light will flash 10 times as it Foss through ten codes. If the device turns off, press the REWIND button once every few second until it turns back on. As soon as it turns on, press the STOP button. You May have to go through several sets of the ten codes to get to the right one. Press the play button after each set of ten if you haven't had tor device turn off. After you have the device coded, hit the device button, then power, to make sure you have it programmed. Good luck. I just had to do this myself. I had memorized how to do it, threw away the manual, then forgot. I couldn't find any help online, so I played with it until I figured it out.

My TV cut off by itself.

I'm not a repairman, but I do know that a lot of sudden power-offs happen due to overheating. If an electronic device gets too hot, it has a auto shut off function that kicks in. Try unplugging it for 10-30 minutes and then try it. If its plugged into a surge protector, try plugging it directly into the wall outlet.

Sony KDF-50E2000 no picture and no sound flashing green standby

In your case that looks like a faulty power board, a faulty inverter or an overheating problem on LCD controller board. All this three faults will cause same symptoms as yours.

When TV does not start, and sometimes you hear a clicking noise, that means that the TV is on protect mode.

Try first leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so.

Also ensure that the fault is not coming from a faulty receiver box sending bad signal, check if you get same problem with no receiver box or dvd connected.

If that does not work, and you keep having a flashing led on front of the TV, and tv turning off by itself after a while, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the TV goes on protection there are only two possible reasons.

1The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or abroken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , startingthe flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then theTV will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occur are a blown capacitor on power board, a convergence IC has blown, or a fault on Digital board.

Check also the video cable or any external connection cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.
