SOURCE: Black particles in clothes after using a top loading samsung fully automatic washing machine

You said these particles stick to the clothes, do they come off and then leave a stain? It may be grease or oil coming from a leaking drum bearing seal.
If it is, This is a major repair and not one for DIY.

SOURCE: how do you remove agitator

Hi. The agitator is fastened to the agitator shaft and its movement is driven either by splines or a simple clutch assembly, which is removable as well. The splines are usually plastic or rubber nubs on a cylinder that fits over the agitator shaft. If the nubs wear down, the shaft will not turn properly or it will turn weakly. If the agitator is moving in only one direction, the likely cause is the clutch assembly. The clutch has dogs that depress and pop up with each turn. If those dogs are worn, they will not engage properly and the agitator will turn only in one direction.

Various makes and models differ in how the agitator is removed. In some newer models, the agitator just lifts straight up and out. However, in most models you will have to preform a combination of the following steps. First remove the fabric softener dispenser, if any. It should either lift or screw off. Next remove the cap. It may lift off, screw off or failing that, it may need to be pried off.

Beneath the cap some agitators are secured in place by a bolt. Use a socket wrench with an extension to remove that bolt. Some Maytag's may have a screw near to the bottom of the agitator post that must be removed. Now try to lift the agitator straight up, possibly with a little back and forth rocking motion. Use caution when pulling, the agitator may come loose suddenly and hit you in the face or send you flying backward.

If the agitator is particularly stubborn, you can loop some rope under one side of the agitator at the bottom and then up over a broom handle. Now loop it again under the other side of the agitator and back up to the broom. Brace one end of the broom handle against the top of the washer and lift up on the other end. Double check that you have removed anything that may be securing the agitator in place. Do not use too much force or you may damage the washer cabinet, agitator or injure yourself.

SOURCE: i have a ul error code on my washing machine it is

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the washer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. The ul error code means unbalanced load. I can suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on washing machines and other appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

My whirlpool top loader extra large washing macine

Hi,

Many late model washing machines use a direct-drive system to agitate and spin. They don't use belts or pressure wheels to transfer power and motion from the motor to the transmission. The motor is coupled directly to the transmission. If the motor is running and there is no agitation or spinning of the tub, the culprit is usually a plastic coupling between the motor and transmission or the transmission itself.

Beko washing machine causing pulled threads on my clothes model number WTL10415W

No model number given. Front Loader or Top Loader? Pulled threads are normally in front loader and is caused by a pinch point in one of the baffles. On a top loader, look for a nick in the agitator, or the type with a split agitator, a gap between the two parts.

Samsung top loader makes ratcheting sound when in wash cycle? How can I fix this?

I have a different brand top loader but the agitator uses these plastic "dog ears" that catch a ring gear. They are turned to only catch in one direction, allowing the agitator to turn one way. As they wear down the agitator stops turning at all and they make a plastic grinding noise. Your model may have something similar. Look up your model and see what might be in the agitator to replace.

My Samsung SWT5V9W top loader spins when you turn the power button on. It still spins during the cycle and 'fights' itself to agitate. Would this be a computer issue?

This can be related to a mechanical issue, Check for free movement of the drum and shaft. check the mountings of the motor, check the suspension and finally the level of the machine, use a rubber mat if the machine moves around.

Whirlpool washing machine LA5310XPWO wont agitate -- what would cause this and how can it be repaired?

Is this a top or front loader? If it is a top loader do you hear the motor run? If you do the first thing to check is the rubber driver between the motor and the transmission. One way to chek if the motor runs is to fill it with water and put it into spin. If it pumps the water out that means the motor runs. If the rubber driver is broke (happens often) it will neither wash nor spin.

Kemore elite top loader won't fully agitate

If you have a whirlpool built machine th problem is probably the agitator dogs. They are located inside the agitator. My guess since you say it doesn't fully agitate. If changing the dogs does bot fix the problem then the coupler is probably bad and that connects the motor to the agitator.
