SOURCE: how to turn ringer on KXDT343

Turning on the ringer depends on why the phone isn't ringing. If the phone ringer volume is set to off or low, press the Up arrow several times when the phone is either on hook or the phone is ringing. Stop pressing the volume up button when the tone is loud enough for you.

If the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode or Call Forwarding, then pick up the handset. Then press * 7 1. Press 0 to select all calls (intercom and outside) then press 0 to Cancel the DND mode or all call forwarding. Hang up after you hear the tone.

This is shown in the Quick Reference Guide which is available from Panasonic on the product page: https://www.panasonic.com/nz/support/product-archives/product-archives-business/unified-communications/business-phones/kx-dt343.html . The direct link to the guide is currently https://www.panasonic.com/content/dam/Panasonic/support_manual/Telephone_Equipment/English/KX-DT343_KX-DT346_Quick_Reference_Guide.pdf .

I hope this helps. If the phone still doesn't ring, check if there is a problem with the PBX system settings for that particular phone. (On some PBX systems, moving a phone to a different jack could require reprogramming.)

My Panasonic KXDT343 phone is giving an error message when I try to change the time, it keeps saying limit exceeded. How can I get passed this?

Question edited for clarity. Wrong type of passed / past.

I can't find that error message anywhere, and am guessing that you are in a section that isn't part of setting the time. First completely disconnect the phone for 5 minutes and then plug back in. There is a video here on setting the time.

Turn ringer on for panasonic KX-TGA273S cordless phone

The handset for the Panasonic KX-TGA273S needs to be paired with a compatible Panasonic cordless phone system like the KX-TG2700. You can turn on the handset ringer by pressing Conf/Function on the handset (lower left) when it is in standby mode. Scroll through the list to Ringer setting with the appropriate arrow keys. Press the right arrow key and scroll to Ringer volume. Press the right arrow. Then press the up arrow and press the soft key for save. This sets the ringer to low. Use the up/down arrows to set the volume. Note: pressing down repeatedly sets the ringer volume to Off. Press Save and End to exit the menu.

The manual for the KX-TGA273S is available on the product page: http://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TGA273S.html . The direct link to the manual is currently ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/accessory/phone_fax/om/kx-tga273s_mul_om.pdf . The manual for the KX-TG2700 is available at ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/303875/Panasonic-Kx-Tg2700.html . See page 19, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/303875/Panasonic-Kx-Tg2700.html?page=19#manual .

I have a kx-dt343, when I'm on the phone, how do i turn off the ringer?

The Panasonic system has call waiting features that you can set or clear by dialing a code. From your phone, on the intercom, dial *7310 for Intercom call waiting and *7320 for Outside line call waiting and it turns the feature off. (11 and 21 turn it back on).

With my phone there are two different ringers for incoming calls. Can you tell me how to change the ringer for calls coming in from an outside line?

From your idle phone press PROG and the CO/Intercom/ICD group button twice, then SEL. Your tones are from 1-19 and 21-30 is for tunes with 1 being default. Use your Navigator up/down button and ENTER to save. You have to do that for each button. 1 is default and we tend to use 1,4 and 9 as something close to real rings.

We've just had new Panasonic KXDT343 phones installed and the individual extensions do not light up when incoming calls are received. How to fix this? When on the other side of the office I have no way of...

Programming. An out of the box TDA system has only one phone programmed to ring, extension 101. The rest have to be put into ICD groups to "flash" or ring when a call comes in. That should have been done by the installer.
