I cant get the scanner to work, even when i download new drivers it comes up with an error message saying the camera is not conecte. is there a driver i can download that will actually work, thanks
Hello, Has this scanner ever worked? If so what happened when it stopped working? Have you tried the following? First of all you need to remove all software related to this printer via add remove programs in control panel. There may be more than 1 program to remove. Then download the latest software and do a re installation with the printer disconnected then connect the printer when prompted. Let me know how you go please.Hello, Has this scanner ever worked? Remove the Olympus software. Let Windows find them with the Camera/Scanner Wizard. It is likely the laptop has not the memory resources to receive all the photos in one hit so try in batches of 10 or so.
Samsung can be cheeky with support i have found and not as helpful with tech help. Instead of going off in tiny circles with unlocking etc, i would go for the quick fix and suggest your scanner may not have installed properly when you installed it. As you have installed the drivers again with no luck i would even suggest goint to samsung web site and downloading new updated drivers for your printer to eliminate corrupt drivers. Does you pc register the scanner being there? Go to control panel, hardware/ printers, find your printer and check all the drivers and whether scanner is actually present on the pc here.
