Hi, I have a Jamo i300 sub.the left speaker contact doesn't work

In the back on the left contact speaker ,when i plug in the satellite speaker doesn't sound good, I already try the satellites speakers, the cables, and are working ok. So I think that the problem is in left plug in contact. Is there any way to fix it? thanks

SOURCE: Want to use only subwoofer of HK695

The problem is that you need the satallite speakers , they have the volume control on them which thats why you only hear the subwoofer.. yes , i tried other speakers to it and no sound either. So you will need the satellite speakers it come with.. good luck!!

SOURCE: I have cambridge audio azur 640a amp. Problem I

The fault is on the amp! It sounds like the protection circuit is detecting a surge on the channel and shuts it down to protect the speaker. I would check the semiconductor device(s) for the right channel on the heatsink of the amp. You might even see damage of burning on one!

SOURCE: ADA745 speakers have no output

Had the same issue as treefarmer and guest. Initially I thought that the voltage controlled pre-amps were the problem as well but further testing proved that wrong. If you remove the yellow wire from the RT Front speaker PCB and measure the voltage at the wiper of the pot it is still too low (should swing from 0 to 5 volts). On investigation it turned out that the pot was failing.

I couldn't find a proper replacement pot so had to fix the broken one. After removal and dissassembly it discovered there was a leakage path between the carbon trace and the bushing assembly. The top deck which contains the carbon path for the wiper can be removed by bending back the tabs that hold it to the metal case. Carefully cleared the shorting path with a probe and retested with an ohm meter..

Re-installed and wala it works!

I have a jamo 200 sub and jamo s602 speaker how do i wire so i can listen to music from my ipad to the speakers

the easiest solution is to get yourself a cord that switches from headphone plug to RCA and connect it that way. I sure hope that this helps you in hooking your ipad up to the Jamo 200 Sub. Thanks, Cody

I think we had a power surge and my jamo i300 speakers have stopped working, how to open the subwoofer, i've tried undoing the 10 screws around the edge........

Perhaps some triage first before you open it up.

Are you sure it's just the speakers that are 'damaged'. The control dock is a vital link in this. Try other sources attached to IT. Or a source plugged into the Line Input directly on the back of the sub. Identify the correct patient before doing the surgery.

What batteries to put in the jamo i300 remote control

Remote Control Battery Replacement

To replace the battery, remove the two screws on back of the
remote and disassemble. It is a "Button" type battery not sure what the number is but look at the battery and find the number on it and replace it with the same style battery

Jamo i300 speakers are dead.

There is peobably a fuse located on the back. Your speaekers are probably okay. If anything fried inside, it is probably the output transistors.

I have no amp for jamo 1060 sub

Dual Voice-Coil
The unique Dual Voice-Coil design allows both left and right channel sound from just one speaker. Simply hook up both the left and the right channels to the special terminals on the speaker. Hook up one channel only, if the speaker is to be used in a conventional stereo set-up.
I found this on jamo site hope that will help you
