Have you thought about a Google search for an instruction book?
If its digital, you need a charged battery and a memory card installed. The on/off switch is either a slider, or a push button - turn it on. Now step outdoors and point it at something - press the button under your right fingertip. Repeat a few times. Now look on the back for a buttom with an arrowhead pointing to the right. This should show you what you have just photographed. If you do not see anything, come back with more information
