SOURCE: programming channels
Hey abshee,
In order to program the channels for this TV, you'll want to press the "Menu" button on the TV itself. Once in the main menu, scroll down until you see an option called "Setup." From here, press the right arrow key to enter the submenu. Before going any further, you'll want to make sure that the tuning band is correctly set to "Air" or "Cable," which will depend on how you have your TV connected.
Once the proper input has been selected, you can then scroll down to "Auto Ch Search." If you press the right arrow key on this option, your TV will automatically search for all available channels.
If you'd like step-by-step instructions (with pictures of what you should see at any given step), I'd suggest checking out the link I've provided below to Insignia's online owner’s manual for this model:

Hope this helps you out.
Sincerely,
Aaron

SOURCE: I have a Westinghouse 26 inch TV.
I carried my Westinghouse TV to the basement. Unplugged the antenna from the digital converter box and connected it to my digital TV. I then re-scanned for channels and found channel 9. After carrying the Westinghouse TV back upstairs, I connected the original set-up and tuned to channel 9 which was now showing on the screen as no signal. From that point I moved my VHF dipoles until I had located the correct position for reception. A little labor intensive, but I was fortunate to have another antenna that was receiving channel 9.
SOURCE: NO channels now, we had some before!!!!!
Here is how you should have it connected.
1- Antenna (rabbit ears or whatever)
2- Converter box
3- Television
When you turn on the TV and the converter box, go to channel 3 on the TV. You should see the converter box signal there. If you do not see it try channel 4. Bring up the convert box menu and go through the AUTO SEARCH, not manual search. Now your box will search all the frequencies and add any stations that are in your area. Make sure you change channels with the converter box, not the tv. An antenna on the roof will still provide somewhat better range, but even rabbit ears will likely pick up something. If you still get no channels you could be too far away, digital signals have a shorter range than analog signals. You can check your local TV stations website or call to see if they are broadcasting digital yet.

Check all your connections in the back, if they're all good replace the main board in the tv.
INSTALLATION
Channel Master by PCT indoor antennas are designed to provide optimum reception of
UHF / VHF and FM signals. These antennas have 75 ohm outputs, which allow simple,
hassle-free connections to today's newer TV sets that have 75 ohm F type connector
inputs.
Simply attach one end of the supplied 6' cable with F connectors to the output of the
antenna (Fig.1). Attach the other end of the cable to the input of the TV set or VCR
(Fig. 2). Some adjustment of the antenna might be necessary for optimum viewing.
Model CM-4030 includes a built-in amplifier and separate power supply.
1. Follow the same steps as above for antenna to TV / VCR hookup. Note : Model
CM-4030 also allows for two set / VCR hookups with its unique dual output feature.
2. Insert the power injector into the back of the antenna (Fig. 3). Plug in the power
transformer to the closest electrical outlet (Fig. 4).
