I have a Samsung dishwasher model #DW7933LRABB that starts to run normal then I get 3 flashing lights Normal, Heavy and Smart then does not complete the cycle

The Normal, Heavy and Smart lights will blink when there is low water level in the dishwasher. Check that the sump area isn't blocked from filling with water. Often there is a float inside the tub that can be held down by a utensil that fell under the lower basket. Remove any foreign objects. Then try to run the dishwasher when it is completely empty. The parts diagram for the dishwasher is available here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/60yajq87a8-001482/samsung-dw7933lrabb-aa-01-dishwasher-parts . If there isn't an obvious blockage in the water level monitors, you could have a wiring problem or an issue with the control board that doesn't get the signal for water reaching the desired level. (Note: if the incoming water pressure were too low, only the Smart light would flash.)

The manual for the DW7933LRABB is available from Sears Parts Direct on the product page: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/manual/60yajq87a8-001482/samsung-dw7933lrabb-aa-01-dishwasher . The current link to the manual is https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/1206228L.pdf .

I hope this helps.

What causes a Samsung dishwasher to flash heavy and smart auto on control panel

Hello. The lights you describe are an error code that means over-level filling (overflow condition) and/or the leakage sensor underneath has detected water. You need to check underneath the unit for any moisture. There is a leakage sensor located at the center of the base, underneath the unit. If it detects water, it will notify the main board which will stop the unit until the condition is cleared.

Low water level

Try to unstick the float. The float tells the DW how much water is in it at any given time. It is shaped like a mushroom on the bottom of the DW basin. Gently pick it up and set it back down. Does it seem free? Try the cycle again.

Kenmore elite dishwasher model 630 Smart Wash light is flashing

You may want to try:
Press a series of four buttons in quick succession. Press "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" to instruct your Kenmore dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test.
Wait for two minutes while your Kenmore dishwasher runs its diagnostic test.
Press the "Cancel/Drain" button once your dishwasher has completed its diagnostic test. This should reset your dishwasher control panel.
Check to make sure that there's no standing water in the bottom of your dishwasher. Standing water in your dishwasher may indicate that your dishwasher has stopped mid-cycle. You will need to press the "Cancel/Drain" button before you can reset your dishwasher control panel.

Low water level

I have a Samsung DMT400RHS and I started getting the low water level error ('Normal'+Heavy'+Smart Auto' LED blinking). The error started intermittently a few weeks ago, but the the last day or two the problem was solid, and simply restarting the cycle no longer worked.
I looked of the code in the dishwasher user guide and it said 'low water level.' Searched the internet and located the repair manual at tradebit.com for $15. The manual was well worth the $15.
The manual suggested: 1) loose level sensor connector 2) Faulty Assy case sensor or stuck floater aka 'remove foreign matter' 3) Bad Main PBA assy.
Since we do 10+ loads a week for the last 18 months the stuck floater seemed to be the most likely cause.
Go to Samsung DMT400RHS Low Water Level Error ('Normal'+Heavy'+Smart Auto' LED) (new link is https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipNtp1neOR7icVG8cSs71bLpxQD5k_xljiWcJD2P click the i on each picture to see the caption - DM 04/17/2016) to see the pictures and read the captions documenting what I did. Do this at your own risk. You must turn off and disconnect the electric power and turn off the water supply before you begin.
