"The Igloo 100 series portable icemakers that are sold all over for about $100 have several minor issues. For ADD WATER light, there are 2 main ones. The water SENSOR is located at the top right of the unit. Remove the BACK cover with 6 screws on the bottom. Remove the TOP assy with 4 screws from inside the case. When the TOP is off, facing the unit from front, you see the small silver wire at the back right. Clean it AND the screw visible thru the hole in the plastic at the end of the sensor wire. The screw is the GROUND side of the sensor. This fixes many of the issues. But the SENSOR senses water FLOW, not water LEVEL. If the PUMP is not moving water, the sensor assumes you are OUT of water and turns on the ADD WATER light. The pump apparently burns out easily. Remove the PUMP wire connector from the CONTROL BOARD and check for continuity in the motor. Be sure your multimeter leads actually touch the connectors. The connection end is too small for most meters, so probe from the backside of the connector. If motor is good, check for 12vdc at the board side of the pump connector. Plug in, turn on. Should be 12vdc within 45 seconds. See, the water pump comes on first. When water is moving over the sensor, then the board will turn on the compressor and start freezing. "
SOURCE: when the room is full stop making ice , the
Good day,
don't understand your question at all. When room is full. Full of what ??
But for know, I'll include a step by step procedure for repairing ice makers. Any further questions, please just ask..
First step is to take a small paper cup of water and fill the cavity until it is near full. With the ice maker turned on, close freezer door and wait 3 hours to see if it harvests. If not, the ice maker is bad, and must be replaced. If the cubes harvest then.......
Three possibilities.
1. The water supply from the house is not delivering water to the water valve. Shut off the house at the meter, disconnect the line going to the water valve, and with the line pointed into a bucket, have someone turn the valve back on for a 15 second count. The water should come out smartly. If not, the line and it's fittings will have to be replaced.
2. The fill tube from the back of the machine that feeds water into the back of the ice maker is frozen up. You will have to remove the ice maker to visually inspect that tube. If blocked, it needs to be defrosted, but use caution. Too much heat too fast will start to melt plastic and vinyl parts you don't want melted.
If this is the case, then once cleaned out, you will have to change the water valve located in the back bottom rear of the machine because it is leaking during the off cycle.
3. If everything checks O.K. up to this point, you will have to purchase and install a new water valve, and install it.
P.S. Under very rare occasions the electric circuity in the ice maker will fail to send a signal to the water valve. Although rare, it can happen, in which case the best option is to replace the ice maker and water valve.

cycle is, fill cycle for 1 minute first. If there is not water entering the unit when first turned on, look for that issue. Water turned off, water valve not working or some restriction, clogged water filters, etc. That is got to happen first. Don't over look the bin stat being bad. Nothing happens if teh bin stat is bad. It sends voltage to the control board that runs the unit.
SOURCE: My Igloo ice 102C is making a loud noise when it pumps in water to make Ice. How do I fix this
It shouldn't make any loud noises at all. Most likely it's a water pump related problem. Most pumps make loud noises when they are lose from their base due to a broken clip or untighten screw. It could also be caused by a faulty pump. Either way, if you just bought it and have the receipt, return it and have them give you another one.
SOURCE: Igloo model ICE108. Why does the ice full light stay on when there is no ice in the basket?
Because the ice level sensor is stuck in the full or up position. As long as it is there, the ice maker is shut off and will make no ice.
The tray full may be triggered or stuck or another problem may exist. Look for what senses the ice being full and also check with Curtis support:
(another person was tld to do this and it workd:
1. turn machine on . 2. press the select button for 10 sec. then 3. press the power button for 10 sec. and then turn off the machine and unplug it for 6 hours.
