Check all ends of your power wand. there should be a little filter and if it gets plugged the motor will shut down. Check both ends of your wand. The sprayer end should come off and mine has a filter if you take the sprayer end off.

SOURCE: pressure washer stalls out when wand nozzle is released

common for not starting unless trigger engaged as you are turning the pump as well as engine creating pressure,as for stalling pump has unloader valve which is probably in need of grease(use good silicone grease)this allows water to ciculate when trigger released.

SOURCE: Karcher K 3.68M Electric Pressure Washer. Wand trigger Locks Up.

Sounds like the pressure valve is broken thats why you cant depress the trigger , the valve is on the pump , i would suggest taking it to a repair shop as they are fiddly things to fix

SOURCE: Motor does not shut off when trigger on wand is released

When the trigger is released, pressure builds up and this acts on a valve (spill valve or pressure control valve). When this pressure is big enough it will push the spill valve out and closes a micro switch. Now this Spill Valve gets stuck sometimes, mainly due to soap and chemicals...so the micro switch is not closed...so the machine contiues running. If this is left likee this it will cause damage to the valves. So all one has to do is service the spill valve or as I usually do I replace it. There are cases were the micro switch is damaged also..and needs to be replaced. To see the spill valve and micro switch you must open the cover. The spill valve is located where you see a cover with an electric wire coming out of it. If the micro switch is good...you must tackle the Spill valve.
Regards,
fulltech.

Why won't the hose connect to the washer?

The connection is made at the bottom of unit.
should be standard garden hose.
sometimes I find if I gently hold hose against connection point then rotate counterclockwise until I feel a click! then ( without lifting hose) rotate clockwise and hose should now be threaded onto power washer.

Pacifichydrostar 1650 pump pulses when pulling the trigger

It may be time to do mainatance to it. Look at: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/443079/Pacific-Hydrostar-1650-Psi.html?page=14
for information on that. It is also possible you do not have enough water flow to the pump. Be sure your feed hose is not colapsing.

Mower started smoking, then stopped working.

Try to see if there is any oil in it. Or maybe your belt is clogged. A good cleaning and maybe a change of plug may help.

Husky 1650 PSI power washer hose got brittle and broke.

If the $$ that you Husky Dealer is asking is to tall, try a garage that make brake hoses. Take the hose with you and many times they can remove your nozzle and install it on a new piece of hose. MAKE SURE that they understand that this hose is for a pressure washer...DO NOT use just any hose...it MUST be a high pressure rated hose.
