Hi in the case of your pressure washer it would cost more to convert it than it would to replace the whole thing. The motor winding is currently 110 VAC and you would have to completly change out the motor with a 220VAC Motor. The power switch for 110VAC can probably be used for 220VAC.
There are things called (servo type) AVR's Automatic votlage reulators that you can buy to convert 220 VAC to 110VAC.

You will just have to shop around locally. These are heavy and cost a bit to ship.
Probably not the options you wanted to hear but other than finiding a way to install a transformer inside your power washer that will handle the load of the motor and NOT melt the chassis of the power washer... the above it about your only options.
