There is a sensor in the throat of the machine that tells if there is paper present. look in the area where the leading edge of the paper sits when paper is loaded. you should be able to see a small piece of plastic sticking up that looks like it would block the paper. That is the sensor flag. Slide a piece of paper in and make sure that it pushes the sensor flag backwards. If it does, the sensor is probably coated with paper dust. Use canned air to blow air at the bottom of the sensor flag to remove the paper dust from the sensor.

What problem? Need more info! On the Panasonic brand, you input the IP address through the "function" mode- "general" settings... go to last menu item "key operator" the code should be 3 or 4 zeros. Then go to the IP address item and enetr in the IP adress. Now you MUST TURN THE MACHINE OFF AND BACK ON TO LOCK IN THE IP ADDRESS! Go back into general setting and "print general settings" to see if it's still the same address.

First why is the tray set for size A4 Paper. That is metric size paper for oversea locations. Should be set for 81/2"x11, or 11"x81/2.. is there any paper stuck behind the 1st tray? are the guides that hold the paper in place in the draw snug up aganist the paper in the draw. is the bottom sheet of paper in the stack/rem of paper benton the edge. All sheets of paper in the draw must be flat.

The computer has sent a A4 size document to the printer and the printer is asking you to put a A4 size piece of paper in the bypass tray so it can print it. It may be an email A4 size that someone has sent you or check the settings in Microsoft Word print or page setup to see if it is set for Letter size, not A4 size.
