SOURCE: Model & spring issue with an ol casio G-Shock when replacing batt

This spring is connector to caseback for transmitting sound. Get an eyeglass and find out on movement backplate written SPRING COIL and put it back. If there is no marking SPRING COIL then check for the hole with approx. same diameter as spring (must easy fit in). The hole shoud be empty with contact spot at the bottom. Put the spring in and close the caseback. Check alarm sound. If it works, you did find the right hole- if not, try again till you find the right one.

Good luck

SOURCE: it is made in china?

Your watch is not fake. Japanese are employing workforce in China, Thailand and other countries, because labour there is much cheaper then in Japan. However, quality checks are of Japanese standards and your watch is exactly the same if it would be made in Japan. Rate me, plz.

SOURCE: Casio PAG 40 I took it apart to replace bateries and a spring came out and I don't know where it goes. The 2 gold ones are in place.

It's probably the small spring which makes electrical contact between the watch aluminum back and the outer housing, presumably to provide an electrical ground connection to the outside triple sensor. I've attached a photo with the location indicated by the yellow circle and arrow. It goes in the little hole and will fall out if you're not careful.11_14_2012_6_41_27_pm.jpg

Casio dw-290-t, springs came out when changing battery, I know wher 1 goes not the other?

The smaller spring is steel with gold plating. It goes into a hole that is near the outside diameter of the battery. You must remove the outer steel retainer to see the hole. Leave the other parts assembled. They will be loose at this point. When you look inside the hole you should see a gold bottom which is really a contact on the board. Insert the spring with the smaller diameter end into the hole. If you have the correct hole then the larger end of the spring will fit just perfectly. Assemble the outer steel retainer. Finish assembly.

Next time you replace the battery only remove the battery strap and leave the other parts intact. Good luck.

Looking fo ra parts break down for the DW-9052 Casio. Was replacing the battery and the spring and a little metal tab fell out. trying to find out where they go.

if its a tiny little spring then those springs you will need to put them in a little hole on top of the movement so they press up against the back of the case when y ou put it on . I am not sure what metal tab you are referring to , but I am pretty sure it is the tab that goes on top of the battery and holds it down.

I've changed my battery on my casio g-shock dw 003 but the illuminator no longer works! why?

Did the same with my DW-003 and thought I'd broken the Illuminator (and the alarm didn't work). Next battery change was via a shop and the illuminator worked again (as did the alarm). This was just a battery cahnge, rather than a repair job - One of those things, I guess

I had the battery in my Casio G Shock DW 6800 replaced. Since then none of the beeps or alarms have worked. Is there a reset button he didn't press?

There is a reset button inside your watch, but I don't think that is the problem. Most likely, there is a spring that makes contact to the watch and the back of your watch case, and it fell out by the person replacing your battery. I would definitely go back to the place where you had the battery installed, and have them take care of the problem buy ordering you a new spring or have them pay for you to send it to Casio.

Battery replacement for a G-shock.

The reset trick works with other Casio Alarm Chrono digital watches, such as my old Model W-720, as well. After the new lithium coil cell is installed and secured with the spring clip, the watch may show random segments in the LCD display or may simply be blank. Insert a sewing needle, paper clip, or blade of a small jeweler's screwdriver into the hole on the back of the movement stamped "AC" (All Clear) to momentarily connect the gold plated contact at the bottom of the hole to the stainless steel battery clip. The battery clip in most such Casio watches is connected to the "+" terminal of the coin cell. This will reset the CMOS chip and it should start up with the watch displaying 12:00 and the date at 1-1. Then, use the control buttons to set the time and date in the normal fashion.
