Thanks for your help! I have a Evenflo bed rail (pictured) that I got from a friend without instructions. I have tried multiple searches for a video or PDF with no luck. I wanted to see if there is a way to lock the legs in the "L" position? We have a twin size bed frame and mattress but I cannot seem to get the gaurd rail secure. I also think it might be because the bed frame only has thin rods supporting the mattress. It doesn't look like the rail is able to properly sit on them. Any suggestions or tips on how to get this safe enough for my daughter to use or should I just get a new one?

The fourth stage is where the bed can be turned into a full size bed. The "front side" and the "back side" are turned into the headboard and footboard. However, at this point a steel full-size bed frame would need to be bought (from any mattress store) to turn it into a full-size bed. You used to be able to get matching wood side rails from Simplicity but since they went out of business you can't. you could have them made if you found matching wood or stain from lowes. not that hard. that's what we did.
