SOURCE: I have a Vtech model CD1281 Corded phone. Is it possible to make a conference call with this phone? The user's manual does not seem to mention this. If I can make one how do I do it?

"conference calls" or sometimes "3-Way calls" are provisioned from your service provider. If you have it as a feature then using it is usually just a matter of pressing a + 2 digits and then dialing the third party's number. Otherwise, you'd normally use a business that provides the bridging equipment; you all call one of their provided connections and they share the voice / video information between all callers.
