Have a Rolair 5715k17 model compressor. Can not get it to stop charging on the standard on off mode but works perfectly in the continuous mode. Any ideas what to check?

The Square D pressure switch is set from the factory to turn off at about 130 psi. Look on the inside of the switch cover for details. If the contacts are welded together or other part failed in the switch the compressor will continue to run till safety valve opens. Replace the switch or just keep using the pilot valve. Good luck on repair.

Air leaks continuously from bleeder valve on my rolair pancake compressor is it the bleeder valve or pump switch?

It will be the "Bleeder Valve" or it is more commonly known as the Check Valve, this valve is normally located going into the tank or connected to the tank, the pipe goes from the tank to the pressure switch, it normally sounds like air is coming from the pressure switch but its actually the check valve i mentioned.

First of all, make sure the tank is totally drained of air and the compressor is not plugged in. Next, unscrew the check valve top, and remove the spring and valve. Have a look at the seat of the valve, to see if the seat is damaged, clean it (if necessary replace it with a new one) then check inside the housing itself to make sure there is no dirt etc inside, clean it, then put it all back together again.

That should do it, this happens a lot on these smaller compressors

How do i hook my 5hp compressor up direct

By direct, you most likely mean continuous run where the compressor runs to set pressure then a spill valve or unloader will discharge the rest of the air. This can be done with a pilot valve available thru WWW.Grainger.com or ebay. Make sure that the thread sizes will work on your compressor. You do not have to remove the pressure switch, however the unloader must unload before the pressure switch setting. For an idea on plumbing, take a look at gas powered compressors or an electric RolAir compressor that has that feature installed. Good luck.

RolAir PMP11MK238PFI owners manual

Go to the RolAir website (http://www.rolair.com/) and under Literature select Owner's Manual, hopefully your model is listed. You'll have to use the proper model number of your air compressor, PMP11MK238FI is the part number of the air pump only. If you need a breakdown of the pump try a site like http://www.ereplacementparts.com/, you can see a breakdown of the pump and order any parts you may need.

I have a divilbiss pro 4000 model RA65K80V1D looking for the compresser head torqe thanks

I have a Rolair two stage air compressor of similar design (5~7 hp range) has metal headvalve plate, aluminum head and cast body. The head bolts are torqued to 243 fp. May use as ballpark guide. Your compressor may have been made by Fini. Good luck.

I am having Daewoo refrigerator Model DIR220. When I switch on the refrigerator the compressor starts after about 3minuites and stops in few seconds. fan motor works continuously. As the compressor stops...

the compressor has an internal overload to protect it from overheating. the compressor is cooled by the refrigerant passing over it. It could be a bad compressor,, bad charge of refrigerant, or simply dirty coils not allowing air movement
