I have a AquaPro Pro800 (80,000BTU) about 6 years old. the fan motor stalls on start-up, looking for advice on the problem with the unit.

It will run for about 40-50mins when I give it a spin from stalled. It then stalls again, and I get one of the following error codes: F5 (not FS), F51 or F55. Any ideas on the error codes or problem with the fan or capacitor?

sounds to me like the coil is failing the heat once it is warmed up makes it misfire so once it cools again it will start but stop again also check the spark plug wires there may be a bad one or even the plugs it isn't the heads or head gasket or cooling system because you would see white smoke and have water in the oil and vise versa this is a firing issue

Have you checked air and fuel filters? If dirty or never changed (fuel) - replace them.

Need advice wiring new motor into old Dometic a/c unit.

On a single phase universal motor with a start and a run capacitor, that is handy.
The start capacitor is fully automatic as there is an internal centrifugal contact that breaks the contact when the motor reaches near running speed.
The run capacitor puts one of the motor windings out of phase with the other and determines the direction. Placing the run capacitor on the neutral will make the motor go the other way than on the live.

I have a Bryant Model 593C central air - 6 years old - the fan on the outside unit won't run. I checked the breaker and it is fine.

Hello, this could be either a bad capacitor or bad fan motor. If the fan starts by giving it a push then replace the capacitor, if it does not start the motor needs to be replaced.

I have a goodman ar24-1 blower motor that will not start. I have changed the capacitor, checked the thermostat, spun the blower motor but still will not start. Outside unit runs but no blower. Any ideas?...

Check the relay or sequencer that controls the blower if it has one of those. If the fan is controlled by a circuit board then you problem may be there. If it is controlled by a circuit board then you can check for power at the fan connection when the fan is supposed to be on. Then there is always the possibility that you blower motor is burned out. You can use and ohmmeter to check the motor windings. You said you checked the thermostat, how did you do that? If you install a jumper between the R and G connections the fan should run if everything else is OK.

Amana Cooling Condensing Unit fan won't kick on

be aware that not repairing this asap that you are causing yourself more problems First I would change out the fan capacitor and see if this could be the problem. Secondly if the capacitor isn,t the problem change out the motor . By continuing to allow the system to cycle like this the compressor will take a dive on you costing more . Good Luck

AC fan motor keeps burning out bearings

Hopefully they have replaced the start and run capacitors for these motors and they are rated properly by voltage and microfarad specs. These capacitors properly start the motors during each run cycle and are a vital component to the motors well being and operation. Replace capacitors

Amana Cooling Condensing Unit fan stops spinning after 15 mins

Capacitor, dirty condencer coil causing the motor amps to run too high. But most likely worn bearing on blade side of motor causing it to pull to one side causing it to over heat and shut down. Sleve bearings should have no side play.
