Spray some WD40 to clean the internals and the slide path.

Your machine is not actually made by Necchi, it is a standard model that lots of manufacturers buy and have their own name put on, email me and tell me what the problem is [email protected]

My Necchi Silva maximatic is not stitching eg one small stitch and the next is a massive and the thread is puckering - lost my manual so cant work out what needs to be adjusted

Always raise the presser foot when threading the machine. This releases the tension disk so the thread will seat properly.
