Move a known good phone to this jack and plug it in. Similarly, take the phone to another jack that you know is working. (Try new phone cords on the non-working phone.) If you get a dial tone with this phone at another jack and the wire is good and seated properly at the jack and the phone, you'll need to take a closer look at the jack. A wire might have come loose in the faceplate connections or keystone jack. If you have a keystone jack, reseating the wires requires a "Punch down" tool to push down the wire. Replacement jacks (at hardware or tech stores) come with a plastic one included. Better ones are sold separately. If the phone doesn't work at another location, check your manual and warranty information.
I hope this helps.
