My Bunn MyCafe MCU had this same problem. You have a failed thermostat limit switch. It's an easy and inexpensive repair. The Thermostat limit switch prevents the machine from heating when it fails. Bunn part no. 29329-1000. I bought mine from amazon for 8 bucks. Unplug and drain it into your sink, remove the screws on the top, back and sides. Mind you there are some hidden under the rubber feet and one in the vent thing on the top of the back. Put those screws in a cup, you'll need them all. Wiggle the bottom and back covers off and you'll see the stainless steel reservoir. On the reservoir you'll see the round thermostat limit switch with 2 wires going to it. You'll need to pull the wires off the switch they will be tight - don't pull by the wire! carefully wiggle them off by pulling on their metal clips. I used a pair of pliers. Once the wires are off, carefully pry up on the metal spring clip that holds the switch to the reservoir. Again, you'll need to be gentle. The switch will fall out. Install your new one, its not directional. Just get it under the spring clip again and put those wires back on. Make sure they're secure. Take your time. have fun finding out where all the screws went again. I think they're all the same. Fill it with water, plug it in and let it warm up.
I have the identical problem, and I noticed it this morning after there were 2 very brief (seconds) power outages the previous night. Reading around the internet I read that the fuses inside the unit are the likely culprit, and need to be replaced. You can buy fuses made by others, for this unit. But not from Bunn. And there are video instructions around that show how to do it. The fuses are crimped on, not soldered. Mind you, I haven't tried to do this, yet, but that's what I read. Good luck!

I have the GT300, and it also started having problems with the 14oz and cream loight s blinking. After trying the unplug and replug thing I gave up, I came back to it the next day and it started working again so I just kept running it over and over until I got it to fail again when I opened the lid and put a pod in to make a cup of coffee. It wouldn't work again so I unplugged it and set it back up and held my hand on the lid and applied a little pressure and it started working again, so far with a little preesure applied it still works. My guess is there is a switch that dosen't make as well as it should, you don't have to hold the lid down during the entire brewing cycle just long enough for it to get started. Good Luck

Sounds like there an issue with the heating element. When the element goes bad it wont pull any water from the tank nor will it heat the water sending it up through the shower head and onto the beans. Unfortunately, since Braun has discontinued ALL kitchen appliances here in the US many of the parts are obsolete including the heating element for this machine.

Hi First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump
assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue
returns after its cleaned then it means that the control board has gone bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance. Daniel
