Sometimes while clearing the jam (if there was one) you may leave a bit of paper left behind which obscures a sensor causing it to think there is paper still in the paper path, or sometimes even paper dust can do it. Try a bottle of compressed air and blow the path out very well. Get a bright light (good flashlight) and very throroughly eyeball the paper path for any "foreign" objects...

HI i just recently 5 min ago fixed this problem.....I tried for days. Most likely something like in my case a small bobby pin fell in the back tray and went into the machine. Some people turn the machine upside down and shake it to get whatever it is out.. nothing fell out of mine when i tried this.. I had to take off the left side of the machine panel ,,,2 screwss in the back and pry down and outward there are 2 screws in the front as well under the silver corner push downward on edge.
I held a piece of paper in front of the front roller and revese fed it into the machine by turning the exposed "wheel " on the left side. You have to guide it through lift up top to see in there as the paper goes under the white rollers. At this point the paper may jam so look inside top at the white rollers about an inch from the right there is a small rectangle shaped hole in there is a black plastic part that part needs to be lifted with a paperclip so the paer can be feed under it,,,,at that point is when the paper i was reversing pushed out a bobby pin.....now mine works great again......main thing here is there mostlikley is something clogged in there,,blocking the paper.........also check you paper that gets stuck my paper kept having a bend in it where it jammed and thats where the pin was in there.

Regards.
If you have cleared off the paper jammed within then it is possible that errors have crept into the drivers. sometimes the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.
Thank you for using Fixya
Hi
This error is caused due to faulty thermister however; you
can check the fuser unit for any jammed paper around the upper fixing roller
and try to clean that area. After this is done try to clear the error by
entering the service mode, to enter press Additional functions, #. Then go to #7 Printer and press OK,
then go to #4 printer reset and press OK, yes= *. Hope this helps...please post
back for further assistance.
