Depends on the type of seat that is on it. I don't think the stock seats are two piece. But, there are seats available to convert it to a solo bike. Mustang is the best buy for the money in my book. http://www.mustangseats.com/
1st chec for loose, corroded or bad wires-specially ones from the plugs and batt--coils can be tested at auto stores but remember thats no olschool hd-it has a computer n electron ign-secure urself a clymer service book
might check alt.out put but check batt connections first get a book and follow the directions to ck AC output youll need to rev the motor some unless you have a three phase alt.which you might ,the book will tell you
