other remotes Remove all the batteries from them but not the coby remote see if it still does it? if so remove the batteries from the coby remote, If it still comes on then it could be a main board issue?

Check the electrical outlet that it is plugged into. It may have a problem.

Every time I close my Coby TFDVD5000 Portable DVD Player I whait untill it is finished loading but then it says no disk. I took the back off to look at it, and I noticed that each time i close it the disk will spin untill the lens starts reading the disk. The problems started when i put a disk cleaner in, and i gess the lens was not dirty. Can you help me?

I have a COBY DVD player TF-DVD7005 that hadn't been used in a while. When I charged the battery and the light went from red to green, nothing happens when I push play and the DVD doesn't spin. Could the battery be dead despite the green light and where would I get a new one?
