How long? about two to three hours depending on your charger. How many? depends on the capacity of your memory card.

SOURCE: Can I export photos from iPhoto back into the Canon G9 PowerShot?

No, you can't.
You only can transfer the pictures back to the camera if the pictures were taken by the same model cameras, plus the pictures were not modified.

SOURCE: battery fully charged. but canon powershot sd600

Your problem may be due to worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, chances are that your batteries need to be replaced because they're just too worn to properly power the camera. And then, of course, there's the possibility that your camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

SOURCE: How do I take black and white photos using a canon powershot?

Place the camera in P, Tv, Av, M, Movie, or Stitch-assist mode. Press the Func/Set button, and scroll down to the "My Colors" icon on the left side (second or third icon down, should show "My Colors Off" at the bottom of the LCD). Now use the left/right buttons to select "B/W", and press the Func/Set button again.

SOURCE: My canon powershot sd 600 will not switch between

Had same problem and just fixed it! I just turned it off, took the battery AND card out for a few minutes and then making sure I had it switched to still mode, put the card and battery back in and turned it on. Working fine again. I suspect it actually does a 'reset' this way so what seemed to be a mechanical issue was definitely a software one ...

SOURCE: on my Canon Powershot A470 white lines coming on photos but the video shiiting clips are fine

If it is on the LCD only and not on the final image when downloaded, it could simply be the camera indicating the actual image area that will be recorded. This can be changed by selecting a different aspect ratio.

Battery flashes low .

This is a known problem with the camera that Canon seems to refuse to acknowledge. If you google you will find plenty on this issue, but there does not seem to be a specific fix.

What's more likely to be the issue is that the spring loading on the door has loosened over time, and the battery simply isn't being pressed up against the contacts in the camera firmly enough.
