What is the quality of a winntec electrical blankets ?

  • Joe Nyagah

Hiya, I bought an electric blanket before. For a long time, I wanted this kind of electric blanket. I can say that at first, I was very excited but then not too much. Over time, it didn't work like it used to. Sometimes it doesn't work. So I can recommend you not to buy such a blanket. Better buy a classic one. You will be more satisfied, and it will be warmer. I can recommend you a cotton one. It is absolutely natural and very warm. You can read more in this article https://sustainableplanet.ca/best-weight...

Can this blanket be washed?

Yes, but follow these instructions. In particular, do not immerse the temperature control switch , which has to be removed from the blanket. If it is permanently attached, then hand washing only is possible.

Dog has chewed cord from blanket to transformer on Riviera Electric Blanket

First off, why are you using an electric blanket in the middle of a heat wave??? Oh, never mind, I just looked up the manufacturer who was located in New South Wales, and I guess you Blokes and Sheilas in Australia are in the middle of winter. The manufacturer is located in Mascot, NSW, but no longer makes the blankets. Try contacting them directly to see if cords are available. If the chewed section is between the blanket and the transformer, you will most likely be better off buying a new one. The first link is to a discussion about Riviera Electric Blankets, and the second is a retailer in Sydney that carries new blankets from $39 to $150.
