I can't find are placement impeller for my 636 Intex filter pump

You are correct. Intex is in the business of selling new product. If you have the pieces, they may be super glued with about a 70% sucess rate. good luck!

You know, I have made some amazing repairs on plastic items using nothing more than a soldiering iron! If you have the piece that broke off, you can carefully melt it back together. You can add more to the weld if you match the type of plastic but not too much or you imbalance it. In this case it looks like PVC. To repair it without the missing piece, form it out of epoxy putty, roughly shape it just before it sets up solid, & sand to finish.

check with local pool store. They should know by the size of the pool what size pump you need

The motor is not able to produce enough power to move the water and it is probably overheating when it tries. The cracking is secondary to the real issue. I would replace the whole pump.

Intex pump is a toy. Very difficult to find a part for their pumps. You can find parts for the pool, but internal components for their pumps - Good Luck?!!

You get what you pay for.
When searching for a replacement, get a real pool pump & filter upgrade. Go with a 16" or bigger Hayward or Pentair system Kit for Above Ground Pools. You will need to be a little bit of a thinker to transition real fittings to the Chinese Proprietary Intex parts, but it can be done, I have done it many times for my customers. And they thank me a million times over, once they see the exceptional performance they now have over the cheap, low quality equipment they have used for years. I have had customers that did not think that they could go a different route. And when their pumps died, they just got another one from intex. Until I came along...
