Go to audio set up see if speakers on if ok check input or source

Does your sound go thru the tv or a sound system ??? when ya turn tv off then on does it show anything like its coming on ??

One of the PCB's in the back is failing.
Unfortunately there are about 13 different PCB's in the back, it will be difficult to ascertain which it is without the back removed.
The TV would need to be on aswell, so safety is an obvious issue.
Some quite high voltages exist inside the TV, you do NOT want to be touching some parts when it is on, there are no labels to tell you what is live and what is not either.
Unless you are competent with electronics then I would take it to a repair shop.
If you are, then open it up, and listen to tell which PCB is making the noise.

Should be easy enough to figure it out though.

if you need to get the sound driver, you can download it at acer website. go to service&support>driver download>select notebook model and you will see all the drivers for your laptop including the sound driver. download and reinstall. hope this help. Good Day!
