Loosing line pressure in the control unit
pressure is reached ,switches off, then the pressure is leaking back through the non-return valve so the pump restarts

Its either clogged or overheating or internal fault . Do you have to press the red reset button each time.If so there is a fault with the motor and will need to go to electric motor specialist.

Check the electrical connection for grounded wires or
loose electrical connections. Use wire nut for all electrical connnection and tape it properly. This should
correct the 20 ohms earth leakage. Send you e-mail comments for further assistance.;

SOURCE: Have an Onga JJ400 jet

Is the pump building pressure and shutting off? If the pump keeps running but not building pressure than there is most likely a problem with the well (low volume). Also check for a water logged bladder tank.

We have Onga SMH55. Our in ground tank is below pump level. Pump is fully primed and gives presssure to garden tap but no pressure to house taps.

if the pump is delivering to the hose tap then it is working
there has to be a problem in the plumbing and control arrangement to the house taps for there to be no pressure at the house
possible tap turned off to the house circuit
Is the pump big enough to supply constant pressure /flow to more than one tap
what sort of pressure control unit is there on the pump
what distances and head heights are involved from the water level in the tank to the house taps
Is there water flow from the house taps but not at pressure
the pump should be able to maintain at least 35psi with at least 4 taps running

Onga JJ 600 household pump with pressure cylinder. Pump cuts out at pressure but won't cut in until water flow has stopped. Pump approx 5 yrs old and no previous problems.

It sounds like a pressure switch problem. Check that your tank pressure is at two psi below your cut-in pressure. If it is correct, then I suggest replacing the press switch.

How to prime a jsp100 onga pump

Check if there is a plug that can be removed to pour in water, if not the outlet pipe may have to be removed to prime with water, hope the non return valve in the tank has not picked up any rubbish . if it can't be primed that could be the case.

Does the pump hold prime when it's off? If a pump runs dry at first then primes it makes the pump and motor work harder. How many gallons of water is your pool?

How to set up my onga pump and filter its about 8 years old but looks like the currant model.just got it and they didnt have instructions bugger.

We begin at the suction line. I'll assume that you will be using this as a
pool pump since you have a filter. At the suction line, install a horizontal
or a vertical check valve along the suction pipe. Then the suction pipe
is connected to the bottom pipe adapter of the filter. The top pipe adapter of the filter shall be connected to the pump suction adapter. At the pump discharge adapter, install a GI Pipe Tee. At the bottom of the GI pipe tee, put a GI nipple going to the pump discharge adapter. Opposite it shall be the pipe plug to serve as the priming port. At the GI pipe cross, install a GI nipple about 6-inch long with a service **** to balance water flow. At the end of the service **** install another 6-inch GI nipple to attach a gate valve to control water flow. After the gate valve
is the discharge pipelines going back to the pool.

Note: Pump must be installed within 3 to 5 meters near the water source. You may install more than 5 meters but suction could be difficult for the pump.

Priming the pump:

Open the plug at the tee that serves as the priming port, Fill this up with
water to full level with the service **** at full close position. Once filled
up, replace and close the priming port. Put the power on, and start the
pump running, then slowly open the service **** or flow control valve
to appropriate level.

Just send your e-mail for further assistance. Thanks.
