SOURCE: what incoming and outgoing mail server info. do I need to set up

Hi, For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus (@ $19.99 per year) to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others.
For more info on setting up your pop3 account see the links below.
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl...
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl...
* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication.

If you have “yahoo.co.uk” address some users can get free pop forwarding see below.
Click “options” (top right) on your mail page>mail options>pop and forwarding>
Set up or edit pop & forwarding>type in the address you want to forward to and
click save.
* Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 465.
Note: In order to be able to send emails from outlook and others through/to yahoo (pop3) you need to pay for a yahoo mail plus account.

SOURCE: i cant get my bellsouth.net

Im assuming you are using outlook express, if not, I apologize, but steps should be similar for other types of software:

  1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
  2. Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
  3. Click POP3, and then click Next.
  4. Under User Information, do the following:
    1. In the Your Name box, type your full name the way that you want it to appear to other people.
    2. In the E-mail Address box, type your e-mail user name, followed by @bellsouth.net.
  5. Under Server Information, do the following:
    1. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type mail.bellsouth.net.
    2. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type mail.bellsouth.net.
  6. Under Logon Information, do the following:
    1. In the User Name box, type your full e-mail address, including the @bellsouth.net domain.
    2. In the Password box, type your password.
    3. Select the Remember password check box.
Note You have the option to have Outlook remember your password by typing it in the Password box and selecting the Remember password check box. Having Outlook remember your password means that you won't have to type your password each time you access the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.
  1. To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings. If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you are prompted to supply or correct it. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
  2. Click More Settings.
  3. On the General tab, under Mail Account, type BellSouth.net.
  4. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
  5. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server, and then click OK.
  6. Click Next, and then click Finish.
Notes
  • Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.
  • Unless specified by BellSouth.net, all server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.
Good Luck!

How to get epp code from bkhost?

You can get EPP code from bkhost.vn by calling them or doing the following steps:

1. Log in to your bkhost.vn account.
2. Go to the "Domain Settings" page.
3. Once you are inside, select Additional Settings, then select "Get Authorization Code".

You will receive an email containing the verification code in a few minutes.

So you have enough information to fill out the EPP code when you transfer the domain name to Hostinger.

Note! Please note that before you transfer a domain name, you need to do the following:

1. Unlock the domain name

2. Disable information protection (You need to display all WHOIS information)

Open my e-mail address

"What is the domain for it?" *****@Domainname.com
Hotmail.com , yahoo.com
The Main enail providers you just add www. before the domain name without the @ symbol.

If it is of a customized nature like @surf.turf.jag.com then it could be from a personalized domain and you would need the instructions from that domain.

If you are trying to use a program you must program in your email and the easiest way is to go to google and search "Domainname email settings for external program"

I want to transfer domain name from one company to another I do not know how to do it?

When you register or transfer a domain to your website account, your server operator designates you as the owner of the domain and places the domain in its database for management and use with your website account.

If you want to transfer your domain name to another registrar, the first step is to unlock the domain name.

Note: To protect against fraudulent transfers, most servers place domains in a "Protected" or "Locked" status. Unfortunately, this can prevent legitimate transfers as well.

To unlock your domain name:

1. Log in to your website account.

2. Click My Domains.

3. Click the View All link. A list of all your domain names and the websites they are associated with appears.

Click on the plus sign next to a domain to expand the information box.
Click on the minus sign next to a domain to hide the information box.

4. Click edit domain lock for the domain name that you want to unlock. (If you do not see the edit domain lock link, you might need to click on the plus sign to expand the information box for your domain name.

5. Follow the on-screen prompts to unlock your domain name.

Once you have unlocked your domain name, the next step is to request your transfer authorization code. For your protection, all domain transfers require a unique authorization code; again, this is to prevent fraudulent transfers.

To request a transfer authorization code:

1. Log in to your website account.

2. Click My Domains.

3. Click the View All link. A list of all your domain names and the websites they are associated with will probably appear.

Click on the plus sign next to a domain to expand the information box.
Click on the minus sign next to a domain to hide the information box.

4. Click the email authorization code for the desired domain name. If you do not see the email authorization code link, you might need to click on the plus sign to expand the information box for your domain name.

5. Follow the on-screen prompts to have the authorization code sent to your administrative contact email address.

Once you've completed these two steps, you can initiate a domain transfer out of your website account through another third-party registrar. After you've found a company that meets your needs, you can submit a Change of Registrar Application through their website to initiate a transfer request for your domain name.

When you have transferred your domain name to your new registrar, please create a new help ticket, notifying us of this completion. Once we receive this confirmation, you server can remove the domain name from your website account, preventing any future billing.

This link will help you find other registrars:

http://www.icann.org/registrars/accredited-list.html

Notes:

Your server operator cannot remove the domain name upgrade from your website account unless they receive notification that your domain name has been successfully transferred out of itsservice.
Transferring your domain name to a new registrar does not constitute closure of your website account. If this is your intent, please remember that a closure request must be made separately.
If you have Domain Privacy enabled for your domain name, it will need to be disabled before the transfer can take place. Contact the operator directly so that your request canbe acted upon. Very important if you are on some type of automatic payment plan using a credit card.

Email

Which ever application you use (let me know specifically), you will almost always choose creating a POP account. You need from your service providers the following items.
  1. SMTP domain (ie. smtp.domain.com)
  2. POP domain (ie. pop.domain.com)
  3. Username to your email (ie. [email protected])
  4. Password for this account.
Your ISP will most likely have instructions about how to connect to them. If you go to their support and type in POP3 with Outlook or Outlook Express. You'll most likely get a hit.

In Outlook, go to Tools | Account Settings | Email to add the accounts.

Hope this helpa, if it does, please choose FixYa!

ThankYa!
