O-ld is 'overload'. There are some fixes here. The first thing I would do is remove the battery and leave it overnight. Replace the batteries with new ones. If you think it may be possible that you are overloading the scale, put a bag of sugar or flour on them to test.
This means that it cannot calibrate itself because the sensor is out of range. This can happen if you drop it or overload it. Check the feet on each of the for corners and make sure they are not stuck, you can do this with the unit on and see if it registers any force on the pads when you press and release them or use a screw driver to lift them SLIGHTLY. There are a lot of youtube videos on how to check and repair them.
