Drain is plugged on model Ap095R Amana air cond it is leaking on floor and not commjng out the drain pipe

Are you able to check the pan or to see if it has any cracking anywhere? Also if you can find the opening to the drain pipe or where it does drain out and run a wire to see if its blocked somewhere. The other is to make sure it can allow the water to move toward the area where it does drain out or so it won't build up and leak out the wrong area. thats all i can think of. good luck.

you need to empty the drain pan every couple of hours depending on the humidity level

Pour some Mr. Clean in the pan and somehow use anything that will fit to clean the pan. Add more water to thepan and allow it to drain.

As far as why they do that...They want to ensure you take it back for service so they can screw you again. I'll bet it only became an issue after the warranty was up.

follow the white pvc drain pipe to it .the over flow is next to the drain pipe.. this should have a cap over it .if your furnance is leaking water the drain is clogg.. use a shop vac to unclogg the drain pipe where it drains at the floor drain

I have the same ac. Manual says you must drain the unit, remove the cap every couple of weeks

hello sounds like the drain tube from the evaporator coil is cloged can you find this tube if so use compressed air to blow it out

not sure if it is a split or window unit if ti is a split unit it may be that the unit needs servicing and that the main drain pan has backed up depends on where it is leaking it can be the the secondary drain pan at the back of the unit that has two small ports that gets plugged up at times

Remove back wall from the inside of the freezer. Some models you have to remove the floor first, others you don't. There will probably be a lot of ice so have plenty of towels and hot water ready. It may take quite a while to get the ice to melt completely, but in my experience it is ALWAYS ice. Just keep refilling the pan with super hot water, and poke into the drain hole with a cable tie or pipe cleaner. When the water feels like it has gone cold, wipe it up with a towel, and refill the pan with hot water.

There are only two items that will shut it down after it is set to run. The bucket full which you took care of and low humidity in the area it is being operated in. Low humidity would not constitute a reason for returning it.
