some of these panels were mis-calibrated from the factory after not aging long enough. Let the TV run for atleast 2 hours and adjust the Vs and Vscan voltages. When it is blue in the left I have found generally the Vs is about 10 volts too high.

what you can do is take off the back pannel and there is a cord on the top of the board that looks like a computer board, there are many boards in the TV but the one I am talking about is twords the bottom where the video jacks plug in to the TV. Ok once you have located the pannel there is a cord on the top kinda tword the right side, it is many wires inside a black covering. What you need to do is just simply unplug it and plug it back in, do this as many times to try to get it to work. If that doesn;t work you can replace the cord and if that doesn't work then the screen is out and would cost WAY too much to fix, you could buy you a new name brand TV.

Apparently, Roger Cablesystems supplies two types of universal remote. One has the ability to control five devices, and the other controls only four. The one which controls four is the problem. It is not programmed with enough codes, and will not accept certain codes, even on direct input of the code. The scan function doesn't work, either. It just is not loaded with enough code capability. I went back to using the five-function universal, and now have no problem. I also used my DYMO printer to print labels with the code for each of my TVs, etc, and stuck each code onto that piece of equipment. No more searching for codes... I'm so done!

Diagnostic: Set SYSTEM Switch to COOL and lower the setpoint below room temperature. Within a few seconds the thermostat should make a soft click sound.
