From the main phone, press PROG **1234 and dial 004. Press ENTER 2 times (watch out, it moves on the display) and you will be looking at 101 : OPERATOR if it's still unprogrammed. Keep pressing NEXT until you get to the one you want to change and use a combination of the keypad and the AUTO ANS button to spell out the new name. The STORE button saves it, the right arrow and clear button step back and forth on the line you're entering.

You can pick up the handset and drop it back into the cradle when you're done to exit.

SOURCE: lock extension with my Panasonic KX T7730

Do you need the default lock code because you already did this, or is it locked and you can't unlock it?

This is probably close, but in the American version it's 77 lock lock # to set and 77 lock # to release, where lock is a 4 digit number.

The System manager can release all locks from their phone. You'll have to make arrangements with an "engineer" to get those codes.

SOURCE: How do i Names to Extention numbers on the Panasonic KX-T7636

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

Has my phone a message leaving facility for outside callers?

The phone is part of a business communication system and you need a few additional components to create the voice message facility for outside callers. You have to add either a KVA or the KVS series voice mail system. For details on how these work please refer the manuals available.

My phone is a panasonic kx-tga101s problems. Suddenly I can receive and hear calls, but my callers only hear static. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try unplugging all units from the AC outlets as well as the phone connection. Leave disconnected for a few minutes. Re-connect all units and try calling out or have someone call in. this should correct the problem.
